That finding is important: it means a person released from the Marengo County jail in the last 24 hours is not confirmed by a public "released today" page. The absence of a web feed is not evidence that no release occurred.
The release-confirmation record for a county jail detainee is the sheriff's prisoner record. Alabama Code Section 36-22-8 requires the sheriff to keep a prisoner book in the sheriff's office, open to public inspection during office hours, with commitment and release information.
